Support Us

If you want to support our trip, we will be happy to accept your help. Here are some ideas on how you can get involved:

JOIN US for a section of our paddle or for dinner. We would be happy to see you on the water or around a table. We might be even happier if you bought us a drink. Check out our itinerary for the possibilities.

INVITE US to camp in your yard, sleep in your guest room, or stay at your hotel at a discounted rate. Stops we are still working on are listed in our itinerary.

ADVISE US if you know a section of the river very well.  We could particularly use advice about crossing Lake George and navigating through Jacksonville and the port and into the Atlantic.

SPREAD THE WORD among your family and friends!

DONATE to the work of the Center for Earth Jurisprudence (CEJ), based at the Barry University School of Law. Jane works at CEJ and Delany and Debbie support CEJ's work through volunteering and donations.

CEJ is dedicated to achieving a system of environmental laws that recognizes and respects the rights of nature (including humans) to exist, to regenerate life cycles, and to be healthy. CEJ currently focuses on better legal protection for the springs and waterways of Florida. You can learn more about CEJ at its website, EarthJuris.org, and by viewing a short film about its work.

Donations will be aggregated and presented to CEJ, and donors will receive a letter from Barry University confirming the donation's tax deductible status. Donations can be made by check or using the "Donate" button below (PayPal account not required).

We encourage you to have some fun with your donation! Consider donating $1.00 per mile of the 160 miles between Sanford and Mayport, or memorializing some milestones along the way. How about $50 for successfully crossing Lake George?  Or $100 for reaching the Atlantic? We are challenging ourselves and hope you will enjoy challenging us, too.

Need details? Have questions? Contact us in the comments or on Facebook and one of us will get back with you.
